Post Natal Yoga
CLASS TIMES
Mondays 10.00am-12noon (includes yoga followed by mothers group and morning tea)
Wednesdays 10.00-11.00am (yoga only)
“Our Post Natal Yoga will help you to regain core strength, tone and energise your body.
Morning Tea is an opportunity to openly discuss alternatives for dealing with tiredness, settling, weaning, breastfeeding, and many other health and emotional issues for baby and mother and to connect to like-minded women in the Baulkham Hills area.”
Each week the yoga course focuses on a different area, adding to the previous week’s work. Worksheets are given out to help you to establish your yoga practice at home: starting with just a few minutes a day.
- Week 1 : Pelvic floor recovery plus BUBBAMASSAGE intro course (Monday class only)
- Week 2 : Release neck and shoulders, opening heart chakra
- Week 3 : Back strengthening
- Week 4 : Abdominal re-toning
- Week 5 : Re-energising your body
- Week 6 : Relaxation & Meditation
NOTE: This course is ongoing. You can continue attending until baby is crawling.
PRICES
2 classes per week
Monday 6 week course $149 PLUS Wednesday 10 class pass $140 or Wednesday 5 class pass $85
1 class per week
Mondays: Cost is $149 for 6 week course (includes BubbaMassage Intro Course on week 1 and morning tea)
Wednesdays: 10 class pass $160 or 5 class pass $90

WHAT TO BRING
Yoga is practised in bare feet so it is nice to bring your own mat. Mats are available in a variety of colours for $25 each.
Bring a blanket and nappy bag for the baby (and anything you would normally need). Slings are encouraged as they will enable you to do continue your yoga if the baby wants to be held or sleep in your arms.

BABY MOON SUPPORT COURSE
WHAT IS A BABY MOON?
The first 4 weeks after the birth is known as the ‘baby moon‘, It is a time to get to know your baby, learn breastfeeding together and adjust to the new rhythm of life.
This is a 6 week revolving course (ie start at any stage) to give information, answer questions and support your choices through the first 6 weeks, or so, in a casual discussion style forum – CALM AND PEACEFUL SETTING FOR YOU AND BABY
(Pregnant women welcome and encouraged as part of their preparation.)
